I’ve been busy building the very slim green section of my wardrobe.I don’t know why I don’t have more green items. I think it could be one of my best colors since my eyes are green. I made Colette’s Pastille Dress from my newly purchased Colette Sewing Handbook. My inspiration was Vincent Van Gogh “A Vase of Roses” a light green with cream roses. My vintage fabric that I used was spot on being light green with cream roses. I was featured on The Sew Weekly for the Art inspired challenge. This week I made the Meringue Skirt which I also contributed to the Sew Weekly for the Saint Patrick’s Day challenge. What’s next? Well, it’s Mad Men time. I’m hoping I can get into my sewing groove and knock something out soon.
