Yes, I finally did it. Three nights in our own Orthopedic Joint Center at Howard Memorial Hospital. I did have to have a blood transfusion on the first night, but then I awoke with rosey cheeks and renewed energy. Every day we would have two sessions of physical therapy, lessons on how to use the walker, navigate stairs and getting in and out of bed, activities that I will have to do for at least a year. I was the best recovering patient and won the horse race. I think they have everyone win just before they leave.
