We went to the annual “Hot Winter Night” collection of song, music, poetry and dance. Leah, despite going back and forth with her dancemates about even doing the dance, finally agreed to be in it with them. Shouts of “I love you! and “I love you more!” from all the loyal, but obnoxious audience members made my husband and I cringe, but we proudly watched our youngest daughter dance gracefully and beautifully upon the stage. In tribute to her performance, I’m posting the same dance that was performed last spring. This version doesn’t have the curtain closing before the end of the dance. Tonight’s performance, sadly left the girls behind the curtain before the clever ending was executed. Three cheers for Leah, who came through for her friends tonight! We love you.
