What I will miss

All the shade plants in the backyard. I’ll try to take most, hoping that they will adjust to more sunshine.

The TV room, with all of my PINKYTOAST paintings around the room. They’ll go up in the new house, but where and when?

My sewing machine, in the dining room. It will probably hide out in the garage and only come in when needed. I hope I can find it.

All the landscaping in the front yard. I love the Chitalpa tree.

The kitchen/ dining room floor that Alex and I so proudly installed all by ourselves.

All those great mirror sliding doors that Leah and I look in all the time.

The memories of living here, when the girls were teens and Kimberly was little.

Memories of living here later, when Dad was cared for across the street, and we visited with him all the time.

Christmas after Christmas, birthdays and parties with family and friends.

And those Hollyhocks, never watered or cared for, but still growing and blooming and surviving.
