Have you ever tried riding a tandem bicycle? We did for about 5 minutes. We switched to the regular style bikes and rode uptown, downtown, around the park, up the Root River, and down the Root River. The bike trail is amazing! Its an old railroad track that has been paved over. You go through lush green vegetation, deep dark forests, and homesteads with their barns, fields and scarecrows. All the while you meander along the Root River taking in the spectacular views from the old trestles. You are accompanied by the birds singing and chirping as you ride merrily along.
