Guatemalan Dress

Back in 94 when we were just a bit younger, I traveled to Guatemala with my husband and baby. We took a boat tour around to the different villages on Lake Atitlan. I loved the bold, beautiful costumes worn by the women of San Antonio. I was able to purchase one, from very willing sellers.

Occasionaly, I dress up in it to show my seventh graders what the decendants of the Mayan culture still wear today.
